To set a new profile, please do the steps listed below:

1. Click the Mail Server tab, and click the number (e.g., #1) under Index column for

configuration in details.

2. The configuration page will be shown as follows:

Available settings are explained as follows:

Item Description

Profile Name

Type a name for such mail service profile. The maximum

length of the name you can set is 31 characters.

SMTP Server

Type the IP address of the mail server. The maximum

length of the name you can set is 63 characters.

SMTP Port

Type the port number for SMTP server.

Sender Address

Type the e-mail address of the sender.

Use SSL

Check this box to use port 465 for SMTP server for some

e-mail server uses https as the transmission method.

Authentication

The mail server must be authenticated with the correct

username and password to have the right of sending

message out. Check the box to enable the function.

Username – Type a name for authentication. The

maximum length of the name you can set is 31 characters.

Password – Type a password for authentication. The

maximum length of the password you can set is 31
